Kaja Olsen has been appointed Director of Children and Education for the Municipality of Qeqertalik, effective October 1, 2026. She brings 17 years of experience as a teacher to the position.
Kaja Olsen will lead the overall management and development of the children and education sector within the municipality’s Timi Tarni Administration. This was announced by the Municipality of Qeqertalik.
Her area of responsibility includes daycare centers, schools, educational guidance, after-school programs, and recreational activities, as well as the advisory function at MISI.
Kaja Olsen holds a bachelor’s degree in education and has completed additional training as a guidance counselor. She has also taken courses in family counseling and as a family classroom teacher.
In the announcement, the municipality welcomes Kaja Olsen and looks forward to working with her.
