Effective October 1, 2026, Felix Olrik will assume the position of director of culture, recreation, and health. Felix is a trained police officer and has served as the head of Timi Tarni in Qeqertarsuaq for nine years, since the establishment of the Municipality of Qeqertalik. In his free time, he places great importance on contributing to the local community, particularly in the areas of prevention, health, and other community-related fields.
As department head at Timi Tarni, he will be responsible for the overall management and development of the municipality’s programs in sports, culture, recreation, health, and disease prevention. In addition, he will be responsible for recreational programs, museums, libraries, and community centers.
