Aviisi.gl and Tusarfik are partnering to reach a wider audience among their respective target groups, both in Greenland and among Greenlanders in Denmark.
Aviisi.gl and Tusarfik are two new media outlets, each with its own target audience. Aviisi.gl is a nationwide digital information platform for all of Greenland. Tusarfik is an online news outlet for Greenlanders living in Denmark.
Aviisi.gl and Tusarfik can work together to bridge the Atlantic and bring relevant stories and information to both people in Greenland and Greenlanders in Denmark. The first project the two media outlets will collaborate on is “Greenland’s Job Market,” which aims to compile and highlight opportunities in the Greenlandic labor market.
– At Tusarfik, we have the journalistic experience and cultural understanding to make a positive contribution to productions that our partner can benefit from. At the same time, through the Tusarfik platform, we can help disseminate any productions that may result from this collaboration. Our strength at Tusarfik lies in the human stories that can make any narrative relevant and relatable to the target audience,” says Paornánguak Helene Kleist, editor-in-chief of Tusarfik.
– Aviisi.gl was created as a platform for all of Greenland, but Greenland doesn’t stop at the country’s borders. There are many Greenlanders living in Denmark who continue to follow closely what’s happening back home, and here Tusarfik has a target audience and a position that complement ours very well. That’s why it makes perfect sense for us to collaborate when we can strengthen each other’s content and spread relevant stories more widely. “Greenland’s Job Opportunities” is a great example. Here, we’ll showcase the people, companies, and career opportunities available in Greenland—including to Greenlanders in Denmark who might be considering returning home. These are exactly the kinds of projects where we can achieve more together than we can on our own, says Lasse Christensen, CEO of Aviisi.gl.
Tusarfik was founded and launched in March 2026 to serve as a voice for Greenlanders in Denmark at a time when there is a strong focus on Greenland and the Arctic. Through social, cultural, and political news, as well as stories about the differences and similarities between Greenlandic and Danish culture, Tusarfik aims to foster a sense of community and cultural understanding.
Aviisi.gl was launched in May 2026 with the goal of creating a new digital platform for all of Greenland. With news, debate, public information, and job listings in five languages, Aviisi.gl will bring people, businesses, and communities closer together and make relevant information accessible to everyone in Greenland.
