Iddimanngiiu Jensen Bianco, Naalakkersuisoq for Housing, Infrastructure, Outlying Districts, and Emergency Preparedness, announces that a dialogue has been initiated with Air Greenland regarding changes and improvements to passenger transport in East Greenland. The Naalakkersuisoq is working to identify potential solutions for passenger transport that will improve the country’s internal connectivity.
In addition, Naalakkersuisoq Iddimanngiiu Jensen Bianco plans to travel to Ittoqqortoormiit from June 27 to 29. An infrastructure seminar will be held during the visit. In addition, a town hall meeting will be held, along with a series of visits and meetings with local stakeholders and businesses in Ittoqqortoormiit.
The purpose of the visit to Ittoqqortoormiit is to gain insight into local and business conditions and to give local stakeholders the opportunity to provide input for the ongoing work on service contracts and other infrastructure projects, among other things.
Naalakkersuisoq Iddimanngiiu Bianco Jensen states:
