STARK Kalaallit Nunaat A/S is a member of CSR Greenland, an organization dedicated to promoting the CSR agenda in Greenland and strengthening companies’ local ties with regard to social, environmental, and ethical issues. Part of this local initiative involves partnerships through which STARK contributes to the development of Greenlandic society.
STARK Kalaallit Nunaat A/S places a special focus on vulnerable children and young people. Their commitment to the local community is the basis for a significant annual donation to social causes.
The donation from STARK Kalaallit Nunaat A/S will be used to maintain our cabin, which is located on Nuuk Fjord. The cabin serves as a key hub for our educational and therapeutic work with the children.
The Sikkerneq Children’s Home is an independent institution founded in 2010. Our target group consists of children aged 0–18 who have suffered early emotional trauma as a result of neglect and who require long-term placement and educational support.
