Become a key player in advancing food safety and quality in Greenland’s leading fishing industry

As our new Quality Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in the quality department, serving as the link between production, regulatory agencies, customers, and certification requirements.

You’ll enjoy a varied workday, close contact with the factories, and the opportunity to make a difference in the quality of products exported around the world.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for self-inspection, BRC, MSC, finished product inspection, and liaising with regulatory authorities regarding shrimp, crab, and the domestic market. You will serve as a key point of contact for both production and the team leader and will have the authority to approve and implement corrective actions following internal audits.

Your main responsibilities

  • Implementation and ongoing maintenance of self-inspection procedures at factories
  • Audit of self-monitoring systems in relation to customer and regulatory requirements in Greenland, Denmark, and abroad
  • Audits and follow-ups at factories to ensure high product quality
  • Participation in customer audits and handling of non-conformities
  • Responses to questionnaires and customer specifications
  • Development of action plans in response to warnings and orders
  • Training in self-monitoring, hygiene, and pest control
  • Contributions to renovation projects and the implementation of new legislation
  • Troubleshooting for mislabeling, quality, and microbiological issues

You should expect to spend 50–60 days a year traveling to our factories.

Your profile

We imagine that you have:

  • Training as a laboratory technician, technician, or similar
  • Experience in food production and quality control
  • Knowledge of self-monitoring systems
  • A systematic and self-directed work style
  • Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, and IPW
  • Proficiency in Danish and English – Greenlandic is a definite advantage
