The work at the Health Center consists primarily of consultations with residents of the city and surrounding villages. The facility has a bed capacity of 10, and the patient population is diverse, as the center serves as both an emergency room and an admissions unit for all categories of patients in the city. You will therefore be working in the emergency room, conducting triage, and caring for hospitalized patients.

At times, we operate without a doctor on site here in Nanortalik; during those periods, doctors from Nuuk provide care via telemedicine.

There is close cooperation with the regional hospital in Qaqortoq, which is located north of Nanortalik

Housing is allocated in accordance with the rules of the Greenlandic Health Service in effect at any given time.

Salary and Employment

Wages and terms of employment, including the right to travel upon hiring and upon termination and to relocation of household goods, in accordance with the agreement or collective bargaining agreement in effect at the time of employment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant bargaining organization.
