We are looking for a skilled and dedicated master butcher for our butcher and deli department. As a master butcher, you will be a key member of our team, where quality, service, and professional pride are our top priorities. 

You will share responsibility for the day-to-day operations, production, and development of our meat and deli product line.

About the city

Qaqortoq is the largest town in South Greenland and boasts a vibrant local community. Qaqortoq is also a hub for education, home to institutions such as Campus Kujalleq and Sulisartut Højskoliat. The city is a popular destination for cruise tourists—in 2025, approximately 46,000 passengers visited the city. With the newly opened airport, further growth in tourism is expected.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cutting of meat, including reindeer, musk ox, and whale
  • Production of smoked foods (newly launched division)
  • Production of deli items, both cold and hot
  • Ensuring high quality and food safety
  • Ordering and Inventory Management
  • Customer service and advice
  • Joint responsibility for the department's presentation and sales
  • Training and peer support
