We are seeking an experienced consultant in mental health and well-being in the workplace who can help strengthen and develop efforts related to mental health throughout the healthcare system. 
You must be able to work closely with both employees and managers when work becomes challenging—including after serious, violent, or potentially traumatic incidents—while also taking a broader view and working on prevention, development, and well-being at the organizational and departmental levels. 
We welcome candidates from various professional backgrounds. The key requirement is that you have solid experience with the psychological work environment and can translate your expertise into concrete solutions.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant college or university degree or experience, such as as a psychologist, occupational health and safety consultant, organizational consultant, or in HR or a related field, as well as solid experience with psychological workplace conditions, well-being, and prevention.
  • I have experience with difficult conversations, conflicts, collaboration challenges, leadership coaching, and people in stressful work situations.
  • Can handle and follow up on serious, violent, or potentially traumatic incidents, including defusing and debriefing.
  • Can work both on specific tasks and on interpersonal relationships while maintaining an organizational overview and identifying opportunities for prevention and development.
  • Is clear, empathetic, and professional, and can assess when an issue can be handled by HR and when other areas of expertise or external assistance should be brought in.
  • Fluent in Greenlandic and Danish.

Housing

Housing is allocated in accordance with the rules of the Greenlandic Health Service in effect at any given time.

Salary and Employment

Wages and terms of employment, including the right to travel upon hiring and upon termination and to relocation of household goods, in accordance with the agreement or collective bargaining agreement in effect at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant bargaining organization.
