We are looking for a manager who will help rebuild the deli and who can put their own stamp on the department. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the future of a modern deli in Maniitsoq, while maintaining our high standards for product quality and fostering a positive work environment. As deli manager, you’ll be part of the store’s management team, where you’ll share responsibility for the store’s overall direction.

It is therefore important that you are able to create a positive work environment and a good atmosphere in the department—both on a day-to-day basis and when the pace is fast. In addition to your primary management responsibilities, you’ll also have a varied workday with shared responsibility for both cold and hot food production.

Tasks:

  • Management and Restructuring of the Delicatessen Department
  • Planning and Delegating Tasks
  • Daily production and customer service in the department
  • A sales-ready and inspiring store with high standards, every day
  • The basics are in place, including prices, data products, newspaper-ready files, etc.
  • Layout, Cleaning, and Self-Inspection
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and atmosphere in the department
  • Active participation in the store's management team

We expect you to:

  • Has a background related to food production, whether in the retail or restaurant industry
  • Can think outside the box and ensure a modern and inspiring department, so that customers always get the best and most up-to-date selection
  • Can ensure attractive and inspiring displays in refrigerated cases
  • Can plan and take the lead in day-to-day operations
  • Is an outgoing person who enjoys working with others and thrives in a lively and cheerful retail environment
  • You have the drive to succeed and want to be part of the team that will take the department to new heights.
