Disability Awareness Week 2026—Nuuk
Come join us as we kick off Disability Awareness Week with a fun-filled day of fellowship, activities, and great prizes!
Date: Monday, October 5, 2026
Location: Amisut & the Community Center in Nuuk
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We’ll start the day with an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. at Amisut and walk together to the community center.
At the Open House, you can enjoy a nail salon offering regular nail polish, group singing, and a variety of fun and enjoyable activities, among other things.
RAFFLE WITH GREAT PRIZES
You’ll receive a numbered ticket at the entrance—be sure to keep it!
At 2:30 p.m., we’ll draw the winners of, among other things:
-Travel gift cards from Air Greenland, Brugseni gift cards
from Kalaallit Forsikring, merchandise
from Atlantic Music, and
other great prizes!
To win, you must be present at 2:30 p.m. when your number is drawn.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
