Inooraq Brandt will become the new Chief Technology and Infrastructure Officer (CTO) at Tusass and will assume the position on October 1, 2026. He comes from a position as CEO of Rambøll Greenland and will take over responsibility for one of Tusass’s most critical areas.
When Jonas Hasselriis took office as CEO of Tusass in March 2026, following several years as COO in charge of engineering and infrastructure, the search for a new Chief Technical Officer began. Following an extensive recruitment process, the choice has now fallen on Inooraq Brandt.
As Director of Technology and Infrastructure, Inooraq Brandt will have overall responsibility for the development and operation of Tusass’s nationwide telecommunications infrastructure, which forms the backbone of Greenland’s telecommunications network.
“The role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Tusass is central to Tusass’ ability to contribute to Greenland’s technological development, as this is the part of the organization where we operate and develop our infrastructure. We have therefore conducted a comprehensive and thorough recruitment process, searching both locally and internationally. We have emphasized not only leadership experience and technical expertise, but also local understanding and future potential. “I am therefore extremely pleased that we have succeeded in recruiting Inooraq, who has broad experience in the Greenlandic business community as well as with projects in Greenland,” says Jonas Hasselriis, CEO of Tusass.
Inooraq Brandt brings solid leadership experience and an in-depth knowledge of Greenlandic society and the business community. Throughout his career, he has led complex projects and organizations with a focus on development, collaboration, and societal value.
The incoming Chief Technology Officer looks forward to joining Tusass and continuing to work on the development of the infrastructure that connects people and businesses across the country.
