On Monday, August 10, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq will launch a new website. The new website was developed in response to a request from the municipal council to strengthen digital citizen services and make it easier for residents to find the information they need.
Prior to the development, a needs analysis was conducted, which showed that there was a need for a more user-friendly and intuitive website. As a result, the content has been restructured, navigation has been improved, and the most frequently accessed information has been made easier to find.
At the same time, the municipality’s job portal has been significantly improved. The new job site provides a better overview of job openings and makes it easier to apply for jobs in Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq.
The goal is to create a modern digital portal for the municipality where residents can quickly find answers to their questions and use the municipality’s digital services.
During the transition to the new website, the site may be a little slow at times, and minor errors may occur while the new system is fully up and running.
If you search for the municipality’s pages on Google, it may take a little while for the new pages to appear in the search results. During a transition period, Google may therefore still direct you to older links.
