A partnership between the Municipality of Kujalleq and the Greenland Sports Federation (GIF) aimed at increasing physical activity in schools is currently in full swing, with the delivery of sports equipment underway.
The equipment intended to promote physical activity in schools in the Municipality of Kujalleq has already been delivered to Qaqortoq, Narsaq, and Nanortalik, and deliveries to the villages are now underway.
– As part of this week’s village tour, recreational equipment has been delivered to Aappilattoq, Narsarmijit, Ammassivik, and Alluitsup Paa. I hope that the recreational equipment that has been delivered to these locations will be used frequently. “Promoting more physical activity in schools is one of our goals in the Municipality of Kujalleq,” says Bolethe Stenskov, Sports and Club Consultant for the Municipality of Kujalleq.
The plan is for the school in Eqalugaarsuit in the Qaqortoq District, as well as the schools in the villages of the Narsaq District, to receive recreational equipment in August.
