At the end of the school year, teachers Marie Sara Larsen and Maannguaq P. Hegelund were honored as Teachers of the Year at Tasersuup Atuarfia.
As is tradition, the Teachers of the Year are honored at Tasersuup Atuarfia at the end of the school year. This year, the two honorees received gifts from Great Greenland, 60° Nord, and the municipality.
– Marie Sara Larsen and Maannguaq P. Hegelund are being recognized for their strong commitment throughout the school year, their dedicated efforts, and the help and advice they have provided to their colleagues. In this regard, I would like to thank Great Greenland, 60° Nord, and the municipality for their contributions to this recognition, said Simon Simonsen on behalf of the teaching staff at Tasersuup Atuarfia.
At the awards ceremony on Friday, June 19, special thanks were also extended to Hans Peter Broberg, who has served as acting principal since February 1. He was recognized for his efforts to create a safer and better work environment at the school before stepping down from his position.
