The deadline for applications to the social fund has been extended
Organizations, associations, or individuals who have submitted applications to the fund must therefore resubmit their applications. This must be done in person at the Citizen Service Center at Nuuk City Hall and at the Citizen Service Centers in the municipality’s other locations.
Organizations that have not yet submitted an application but wish to do so are also asked to submit their application in person at the Citizen Service Center.
The deadline for submitting applications has also been extended to July 1. Applications for funding for events held between June 1 and July 1 will also be considered.
Consultation Response
Due to a system failure, the Department of Public Works and the Environment wishes to announce that it has not received any consultation responses submitted between May 22, 2026, and the present.

Notifications will continue during system outages
Despite the ongoing system outage at Kommuneqarfik
Sermersooq, it is still possible to submit reports regarding
children and youth.
Notifications must be submitted in writing through the reception desk at
the Department of Children and Family Services at Kuussuaq 2 (City Hall).
