About the Position
As a crew leader, you will be the immediate supervisor of the operations staff in the city and will report directly to the technician. You will translate the technician’s priorities into daily staffing, work assignments, and follow-up on tasks.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Plan and assign daily tasks for personnel, machinery, and equipment.
- Manage and follow up on tasks related to road maintenance/city operations, landfill/recycling center
- Ensure quality, progress, a safe work environment, and the safe completion of tasks.
- Be responsible for the warehouse, spare parts, equipment, inventory control, and consolidated orders.
- Record consumption, errors, shortages, waste volumes, and other operational data.
- Coordinate maintenance, minor repairs, and the efficient use of the team's resources.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and help create a safe and attractive workplace.
- Participate in emergency response, vacation cover, and other tasks within the operations department.
We expect you to
- has experience with day-to-day operations, construction work, renovation, or similar tasks.
- can plan, prioritize, and follow up on multiple tasks at the same time.
- can lead employees clearly and respectfully.
- focuses on safety, quality, order, and the responsible use of municipal equipment.
- can record operational data and communicate with relevant administrative functions.
- has a driver's license; experience with machinery and equipment is a plus.
