The Luuvikasik Nursing Home is seeking two healthcare assistants to begin employment on September 1, 2026, or as agreed.
The nursing home has room for 30 residents and includes a dementia unit and a nursing unit. Your colleagues will include healthcare assistants, healthcare aides, social and healthcare aides, nutrition assistants, nutrition aides, and unskilled staff.
We are looking for 2 healthcare assistants who are able to perform or have experience with:
- Basic Health Care, Nursing, and Medication Administration
- Can help improve the documentation related to care
- Contribute to innovation and development
- Contribute to health-promoting activities for residents
- Participate in the training of assistants and interns
- Work to ensure that residents feel safe and lead meaningful lives
- Ensuring Quality Care
- Shared responsibility for professional standards is at play in all situations
- Proactive in the development and maintenance of professional expertise
- These positions involve on-call duties
Qualifications and Requirements
- Trained as a healthcare assistant
- Proactive and able to involve colleagues
- Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish (though not required)
- Clean criminal record
Salary and employment conditions are governed by the agreements in effect at any given time between the Greenland Home Rule Government and the relevant organization authorized to negotiate.
Housing may be provided, for which payment is made in accordance with applicable rules; moving expenses are also covered in accordance with applicable rules.
