Prospective early childhood educators can begin on December 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.

The “Inneriilat” daycare center has facilities with 76 spots for children ages 0–3. There are a total of 20 employees, including the director.

There are four daycare centers in Qaqortoq. The directors work well together. They also make a point of helping one another when needed.

Qaqortoq is a peaceful and beautiful town. Various activities are held there throughout the year.

If you have a background in early childhood education and are hired as an early childhood educator at “Inneriilat,” you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Stable
  • Can you maintain an overall perspective? 
  • Someone who can recognize children's needs
  • Has good interpersonal skills when interacting with users
  • Honest
  • Someone who adapts well
  • Proactive

·Computer skills are a plus, but not required.

Child Protection Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring a child protection clearance. Under the law, employment may not begin until the municipality has obtained a child protection clearance. 

The child protection clearance will be part of the municipality’s assessment of who should be hired for the position

Wages and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreements between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat. 

Housing may be provided for which rent and a security deposit are paid in accordance with applicable regulations.
