The Ajaajaqarfik daycare center in the Municipality of Qaanaaq Avannaata is seeking a social worker to start on July 1 or by mutual agreement.
The social worker’s immediate supervisor is the director of the daycare center “Ajaajaqarfik”
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Work in accordance with the institution’s rules and objectives.
·Caring for the children in a safe and responsible manner.
·Collaborating with different teams and departments.
·Collaborating with parents.
·Handling day-to-day tasks and prioritizing work assignments.

Salary and Terms of Employment:
Salary and terms of employment shall be governed by the collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and SIK in effect at the time of employment.
Housing is not provided for this position.
Employment is contingent upon the submission of a satisfactory child protection clearance and a criminal record check; the employer will obtain these from the National Police Agency with the applicant’s consent.
