About the job

As a store manager, you will be responsible for the store’s day-to-day operations, employees, and performance. You will become a key figure in the local community and have the opportunity to shape both the store’s development and the customer experience.

About the store

The main store has approximately 30 employees, and the Brugseneeraq Annertusoq branch has approximately 10 employees. With a total sales area of approximately 1,000 square meters spread over two floors, the main store serves as the lifeblood of Maniitsoq. The store has many customers who live nearby, and since it is the largest grocery retailer in town, there are excellent sales opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure that the store runs smoothly and delivers strong results
  • Lead and develop your managers and employees in their day-to-day work
  • Build a strong leadership team and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Plan and optimize sales activities in collaboration with your sales manager and the sales department
  • Creating positive customer experiences and building a strong local presence
  • Collaboration with local councils (BIS) and other local partners

About you

You have experience in retail and management and are able to achieve results through others.
