The student residence in Nanortalik is looking for a social worker
The student residence, located in Nanortalik, provides housing for students from rural communities. We are seeking a social worker to begin on November 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
A student residence is a 24-hour facility with different check-in times: morning, evening, and night.
The Nanortalik student residence can accommodate 30 children, but right now there are about 10 students.
Requirements for applicants:
- Training as a Social Worker
- Stable and cooperative
- Be brave
- A desire for professional development, together with the staff.
- Ability to set goals.
Child Protection Certificate:
This position is subject to the law requiring a child protection clearance. Under the law, employment may not begin until the municipality has obtained a child protection clearance.
The child protection clearance is part of the municipality’s assessment of who should be hired for the position.
Salary and employment terms as set forth in the collective bargaining agreement.
