After-School Care in Nanortalik is looking for a social worker:

Klubbeeraq, an after-school program located in Nanortalik, is an after-school center. We are seeking a social worker to start on November 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.

After-school care is a drop-in center for students in grades 1 through 5, but it is now open to other students as well during school hours when they would otherwise have had the day off.

  • Can keep track of the children's plans for after-school activities

Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. There are three staff members, and their work schedules vary. Klubbeeraq is located in the school.

Child Protection Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring a child protection clearance. Under the law, employment may not begin until the municipality has obtained a child protection clearance.

The child protection clearance will be part of the municipality’s assessment of who should be hired for the position

The position is compensated in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Training as a social worker or social services assistant is required. You must also have a clean child protection and criminal background check; if you do not have these, we can help you obtain them.
