Royal Greenland A/S in Sisimiut is looking for an electrician.
You will work as part of a team alongside the staff in the technical department. Together, you will ensure that the equipment, buildings, vehicles, and boats at the Sisimiut plant are always operated optimally and in a safe manner.
The factory operates on a two-shift schedule during the peak season, which means that working hours may vary. You can also expect some business travel throughout the year.
You will report to the Technical Director
In your new job as an electrician, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Professional operation and maintenance of machinery and electrical systems in the factory
- Installation of new machinery in the factory
- Routine tasks at the factory
- On-call duty
- Maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Maintenance of electric motors and technical installations in accordance with applicable standards
- Updating PLC programs, as well as updating documentation and backups in accordance with current group standards
- Glass inspection according to HACCP form SKT09QAS
- Inventory and maintenance of scales
Your profile:
- You are a trained electrician and have a background in electrical work
- Service-oriented, outgoing, and flexible
- Can keep a clear head in stressful situations
- Can handle multiple tasks at once
- A positive, outgoing person with a knack for teamwork and customer service
- Willing to share knowledge with colleagues
- Proficiency in spoken and written Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage
