The Ajaajaqarfik daycare center in the Municipality of Qaanaaq Avannaata is seeking a social worker to begin employment on September 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
The social worker’s immediate supervisor is the daycare center director at “Ajaajaqarfik.”
Duties and Responsibilities:

Salary and Terms of Employment:
Salary and terms of employment are governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Naalakkersuisut and SIK in effect at the time of hire.
Housing is not provided for this position.
Employment is contingent upon the submission of a satisfactory child protection clearance and a criminal background check; the employer will obtain these from the National Police Agency with the applicant’s consent.
