The Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat daycare center in Uummannaq, Avannaata Municipality, is seeking two early childhood educators to begin employment on November 1, 2026, as soon as possible or by mutual agreement.
The educators’ immediate supervisor will be the director of “Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat”
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
·Work in accordance with the institution’s rules and objectives.
·Caring for the children in a safe and responsible manner.
·Collaboration between different teams and departments.
·Collaborating with parents.
·Handling tasks as they arise and prioritizing work assignments.

Salary and Terms of Employment:
Salary and terms of employment shall be in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement in effect between Naalakkersuisut and the authorized bargaining organization at the time of employment.
Housing is not provided for this position.
Employment is contingent upon the submission of a satisfactory child protection clearance and a criminal background check, which will be obtained from the Danish National Police with the applicant’s consent.
