Utoqqaat Illuat in the Municipality of Qeqertalik Qeqertarsuaq is seeking a kitchen manager to start on July 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
Job responsibilities:
·Financial management of orders placed through the kitchen
·Meal plans
·Dietary meals and guidance on this
·Work schedules for the kitchen
·Schedule for kitchen staff
·Product orders
·Meal service for new residents
·Supervise kitchen staff
·Ensure optimal hygiene in the kitchen
·Weekend work every other week
Applicant’s qualifications:
- Trained in the Food Industry
- Cooperative
- Loyal.
- Take responsibility
- Work in a focused manner with a sense of order
- Is positive
Salary and employment terms:
Salary and terms of employment are governed by the collective agreement in effect at the time of hire between Naalakkersuisut and the authorized bargaining organization.
There is no housing available
Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law requiring a criminal background check. Under this law, employment cannot begin until the municipality has received a criminal background check. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record check from the police.
