WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO OPERATIONS STAFF MEMBERS
to the receiving station in Narsaq
The Municipality of Kujalleq is seeking two hands-on and responsible employees for the day-to-day operation of the landfill and transfer station in Narsaq. The positions report directly to the foreman.
Your main responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and dispose of waste in accordance with applicable regulations and local instructions.
- Record the quantities of waste delivered, waste categories, and other necessary information.
- Handle, package, and prepare waste, including problematic waste and hazardous waste.
- Assist with the temporary storage and shipment of waste.
- Keep the site clean, safe, and environmentally responsible.
- Provide guidance to residents and businesses on proper disposal and sorting.
- Report any faults, missing items, or maintenance needs to the foreman.
- Assist with other operational tasks as needed.
