Luuvikasik is administratively part of the Social Services Department of the Municipality of Kujalleq.
The Luuvikasik nursing home has five units, consisting of two dementia units, one unit for people with disabilities, and two units for general senior residents.
We offer work in a pleasant and welcoming environment. The kitchen prepares meals for 30 residents and also sells food to senior citizens in town.
We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented employee who is interested in preparing healthy meals for older adults; you must be a certified nutrition assistant.
As a nutrition assistant, we expect you to be able to create meal plans and assess the needs of the elderly regarding the Greenlandic diet, diabetic diets, gel-based diets, light diets, and special diets.
As a skilled worker, we expect you to take responsibility for training unskilled kitchen staff on the importance of nutrition and special diets for residents.
Wages and employment terms are governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Naalakkersuisut, the Ministry of Finance, and Sulinermik Inuussutissarsiuteqartut Kattuffiat for workers with training in the food industry.
