We are looking for a skilled and reliable mechanic for our workshop in Uummannaq who would like to be part of a work environment focused on hands-on work and technical solutions.
As a mechanic with us, you will work on the factory’s forklifts and other rolling stock to ensure that the equipment is always ready for operation. You will also help maintain the factory’s machinery and other technical installations.
You’ll be part of a strong team with talented and dedicated colleagues who know each other well and maintain a casual, collaborative atmosphere in their day-to-day work.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and repair of forklifts and other rolling stock
- Maintenance of the factory's other machinery and equipment
- Routine workshop tasks
- Participation in apprentice training
- Ad hoc tasks in day-to-day operations
Qualifications and requirements:
- Trained mechanic with experience in a similar position
- Responsible and quality-oriented, with a sense of professional pride
- Service-oriented, flexible, and a team player
- Can keep a clear picture of the big picture—even during busy periods
- Works independently and in an organized manner
- Stable, reliable, and a great colleague
