The Payroll Department in Upernavik is seeking a maternity leave replacement for an administrative assistant, to begin on October 12, 2026, for the period: October 12, 2026 – July 18, 2027.

The Administrative Officer’s immediate supervisor is the Director of Citizen Services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·Enter hourly and monthly wages

·Calculation of vacation pay

·Webtas Administrators

·Payment and settlement of boat and sled rentals

·Responding to mail

·Customer Service

·Guidance on collective bargaining agreements, wages, etc.

·Archiving

Qualifications:

·User-level knowledge of the Office suite

·Committed to learning new software programs through course activities and in my daily work.

·Meet deadlines

·Structured and organized

Being bilingual is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary and Employment Terms:

Salary and employment terms will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement with the relevant union authorized to negotiate at any given time.
