Kangersuatsiatsiap Atuarfia Kangersuatsiaq in Upernavik is looking for a certified teacher. Kangersuatsiap Atuarfia has students in grades 1–9; students are taught in mixed-grade classes rather than by grade level. We are looking for someone who can teach various subjects.

Salary and Employment Conditions.
Hiring will be based on an agreement between Naalakkersuisut and IMAK. Applicants who currently hold a civil service position will retain the right to that form of employment.
No housing will be provided.
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and household goods relocation, are governed by the agreements in effect between the Government of Greenland and IMAK at the time of employment.
Employment may also be offered under special fixed-term terms, as provided for in the agreement of February 16, 2007, regarding employment under special fixed-term terms.
Employment is contingent upon the submission of a satisfactory criminal record check and a child protection clearance, which the employer will obtain from the Danish National Police with the consent of the applicant who is recommended for hire.
