As a master butcher, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department and will become an integral part of the store’s management team. You will ensure high quality, efficient operations, and a vibrant department where both customers and employees thrive.

About the job

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the butchery department and must ensure that the department meets Brugseni’s high standards for quality, service, and efficiency.

You will perform traditional butchery tasks and have the opportunity to work with local ingredients and specialties. 

Your role will be to create a positive work environment where employees can grow, stay motivated, and work toward shared goals.

Your main responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operations of the slaughterhouse
  • Cutting and production
  • Human Resources Management and Employee Development
  • Inventory Management and Ordering
  • Administrative responsibility for the department
  • Preparing merchandise for sale and ensuring an inspiring product display
  • Self-monitoring and quality assurance
  • Active participation in the store's management team

Your profile

  • Is a trained butcher
  • Has experience in retail or food production
  • Preferably has management experience
  • Is service-oriented and quality-conscious
  • Has strong business acumen
  • Is good at planning and delegating
  • Works in a structured manner and sees tasks through to completion
