The Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat daycare center in Uummannaq, Avannaata Municipality, is seeking a teacher to begin employment on July 1, 2026, as soon as possible or by mutual agreement.
The educator’s immediate supervisor will be the director of “Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat”
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Work in accordance with the institution’s rules and objectives.
·Care for the children in a safe and responsible manner.
·Collaborate with different teams and departments.
·Collaborate with parents.
·Handle day-to-day tasks and prioritize work responsibilities.
·Be proficient in using the systems employed by the institution

Salary and terms of employment:
Employment is governed by the current collective bargaining agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat
Housing is not provided for this position.
Employment is contingent upon the submission of a satisfactory child protection clearance and a criminal background check, which will be obtained from the National Police Agency with the applicant’s consent.
