The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Aasiaat, and the Ikdolo Recreation Club are currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy Manager, starting on June 15, 2026, or as agreed upon.
The Ikdolo Recreation Club is a club for first and second-year students. It is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and reopens for youth
from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. 

Facilities at Igdlo Leisure Club:

The position at Igdlo Leisure Club is full-time, working 40 hours per week.

The Ikdlo Recreation Club operates under the management of the TIMI TARNI Committee.

Requirements for Applicants:

You should be responsible, observant, and adaptable.

You should remain calm in stressful situations, have flexible work methods, collaborate effectively with others, and be reliable.

You should be in good physical and mental health, and have an open mind and a positive attitude.

You must be able to work in accordance with the objectives and action plans of Igdlo Leisure Club.

Salary and living conditions:

Payment terms are subject to the current agreement.

Criminal Record and Child Protection Certificate: 

This position is covered by the Act on Obligations to Request Criminal History and Child Protection Certificates. Under this Act, the commencement of duties is only permitted once the local authority has received satisfactory criminal history and child protection certificates. Therefore, it must be clarified that the start date cannot be set until the local authority has received the child protection certificate from the National Police Bureau and the criminal history certificate from the police.

The child protection certificate is obtained from the local authority with the consent of the person concerned, whereas the criminal record certificate is obtained by the individual from the police station.
