There is some good news from the Malik Swimming Pool. Since the pool closed on March 1, 2026, for renovations, things have been busy. The entire building was cleared out, and on May 1, work began on removing old and dilapidated equipment and materials. This is according to a statement on the Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq website.
To date, only the skeletal framework remains, and the renovation is proceeding as planned.
When the doors reopen, there’s sure to be plenty of great experiences at the Malik Swimming Center.
