A lottery for musk ox hunting licenses will be held in the Sermersooq Municipal Office on Monday at the Citizen Service Center.
The drawing will be held among the applicants who have applied for a license and will take place on Monday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m. at the Citizen Service Center by the main entrance of City Hall.
The deadline for applying for a musk ox hunting permit is 12:00 p.m. today. Due to connection issues, it is recommended that applications be completed in person at Citizen Services.
Applicants are assigned a number. Numbered slips of paper are drawn from a raffle to ensure the greatest possible transparency. The numbers and names of those drawn are read aloud.
Applicants and other interested parties are welcome to attend the drawing at City Hall. You can also watch the drawing live on the municipality’s Facebook page.
Winners who are not physically present at the drawing will be contacted by phone by the municipality.
