The Kittat Inuiaat Show invites you to a festive event in celebration of National Day, where we honor our cultural heritage through Greenlandic national dress and a sense of community.

Event
During the Kittat Inuiaat Show, a traditional costume contest will be held, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their beautiful and traditional costumes on the catwalk.
Selected judges will be present on the day to evaluate the participants based on overall impression, craftsmanship, and presentation.
Prize
The winner of the contest will receive a gift card worth 5,000 kr. for Nuuk Center.
Registration
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on June 21 in Kittat.

About the competition
The purpose of the National Costume Competition is to celebrate and highlight Greenlandic cultural heritage through traditional dress. Participants will have the opportunity to walk the runway and present their costumes to the audience and judges in a festive and respectful setting.
