Nanubørn is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to improving conditions for vulnerable children in Greenland. The organization relies on unpaid volunteer work and is independent of political and religious interests. Since 2008, Nanubørn’s mission has been to create a greater sense of security for children living in vulnerable situations, including through projects, drop-in centers, and the distribution of Christmas aid to families with children throughout the country.
At the same time, Nanubørn would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the two outgoing board members, Johanne L. Knudsen and Mona Steenholt, former chair, for their tremendous dedication and significant contributions to the organization and the children Nanubørn serves.
With its new board of directors, Nanubørn looks forward to continuing the excellent and important work that has already been done and to continuing to make a positive difference for children in Greenland.
