The Municipality of Kujalleq has appointed Miki Sikemsen as its new emergency management director. He will take up the position on May 1, succeeding Asmus Hansen, who is retiring after many years of service.
The appointment will be made following a completed recruitment process, in which both experience and professional qualifications have been taken into account.
Experience from emergency response
According to the municipality, Miki Sikemsen brings a diverse background to the position. He has many years of experience as a firefighter and has worked in search and rescue (SAR). In addition, he has served as deputy emergency services chief and has solid leadership experience.

Change in leadership
Miki Sikemsen will take over the position from Asmus Hansen, whose last day of work will be at the end of May.
With this appointment, the municipality ensures the continuation of professional work in emergency response while bringing new perspectives to the leadership team.
